Say goodbye to dull, uneven lines. The Uni Kuru Toga has a small gear system inside that turns the lead a tiny bit every time you lift it off the page. It's made in Japan by Mitsubishi, the same maker as our Zento pens, and fits right into your Uprise Notebook setup.

• Self-Sharpening Rotation: An ordinary mechanical pencil wears into a flat, chisel-shaped tip. The Kuru Toga turns the lead as you write, so it wears down evenly into a cone. You get consistent line width with less smudging and less breakage.
• Roulette (Silver or Black): A knurled metal grip adds texture and weight toward the tip for a steady, controlled feel. It has a metal clip and an eraser under the cap.
• Metal (Black): The all-aluminum body has a finely grooved grip that keeps your fingers from slipping. A built-in damper in the tip absorbs vibration, so the lead feels steady even as it rotates. This is our premium pick for everyday carry.
• A Natural Match for Our Paper: A sharp 0.5mm point writes cleanly on our 100gsm cream paper. That makes it a good fit for planners, grid layouts, and quick sketches.
